NB. The 2003 harvest was dramatically affected by the October 2002 Hawkes Bay frost. Since then a major frost protection system has been installed at Keltern, and paid for itself within two years.
The Keltern vineyard was under redevelopment during 2012-2014 and half of the total vineyard was replanted with the high performing chardonnay variety.

Seddon Vineyards is situated on the southern banks of the Awatere river about 40 minutes drive south of Blenhiem. The vineyard has been incorporated into a dramatic landscape, made up of 3 river terraces bound by the Inland Kaikoura ranges on its southern flanks and the Wither hills to the north.
